What Does 2023 Mean For Me?

Well, hello everyone!

It has been quite some time. I have to say that 2022 has been one of the most incredible years of my life. For those of you who follow me on social media you will know that I have had quite the year. From buying my first home and all that comes with that to having family visit internationally. It has been A year. On top of this, I found employment outside of the video game industry which combined with the other happenings really impacted the time that I had.

Now that 2022 is coming to an end and I have completed the majority of matters that I had to attend to; I can excitedly say that I am bringing myself back to focus on what I love and enjoy the most. Video games. Be it playing them, writing about them, reading news and consuming online content. I want it all. What a great year to be back in action too! 2023 is shaping up to be such an amazing year with a range of solid releases that anyone and everyone should be excited about.

Personally, for me, there are many highlights including but not limited to: Final Fantasy XVI, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and more. Let’s not forget the next FFXIV patch in early January. I am also excited to play a range of games from 2022 and years previous that never made it into my console. As time goes on, my five-year-old has become increasingly interested in playing video games herself and it has been a wonder to watch her play. Which is time I treasure, and I am eager to continue into the new year.

One of the most important reasons in moving to the United States outside of my family was the fact that I wanted to break into the video game industry and in the upcoming year I plan on working hard to do exactly that.

I hope that every single one of you reading this has had a fantastic year and that the upcoming year is filled with happiness and success.

You will hear from me again soon!
