Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch Bundle Unboxing

I can’t believe that it’s already November! How fast has this year gone? With the end of the year fast approaching, it’s almost the release date for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which everyone is incredibly excited about. With the release comes a lot of extra accessories and peripherals. Nintendo also released a special edition Switch console to mark the occasion. My boyfriend was lucky enough to pick one up!

Originally I thought it was a bit early to release the console but it does add to the hype build up and now everyone gets to see the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game icon locked for the next month. Of course you always have to suffer this same fate if you pre-load the game. So, my boyfriend went all in and purchased the bundle, two GameCube controllers and the adaptor which I have no doubt will become hard to find when the game launches so it’s probably a wise idea to get in early.

The bundle comes with everything you would receive with a regular Switch console – the Switch console itself, the left and right Joy-Cons, the wrist straps, one Joy-Con grip, one dock, and the necessary cables. What makes the console special is the dock that is covered with popular characters in the Smash Bros. series, joy-cons with a simplistic design and a code for the game itself. I personally think that they could have made the console more colourful. I mean, they have a huge range of colourful and fun characters and yet the console is just.. grey. It does still look nice and I am sure huge fans of the series love it. It looks really nice with the pop of red from our red joy-cons.

Well, that’s that! I hope everyone who is looking forward to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate enjoys it when it releases. I haven’t played a lot of Smash Bros. previously but I too will be buying it. I hope that I end up enjoying it just as much as you all. Have fun!
