I was kindly nominated for this award by The Book Worm Blogg. It is always lovely to see that someone reads what you say. Especially when you put so much time and energy into your blog. I love my blog and blogging and I hope I can one day take it further and turn it into something successful. For now though I am just happy where I am at!

1. What inspires you most to write?

I always have something to say in regards to the video game industry. I have always wanted to work in some section of the video game world. Starting a blog seemed like a great way to start to make a name for myself while still having fun. Originally Cilla vs. Games was an attempt to play 52 games in one year. I failed at this. The year has been full of things that have taken up my time and challenged me. Because of this I turned it into a blog about the nerdier side of life.

2. What it your favourite thing to do in the entire world?

Sit under a blanket on the couch when it is raining outside and play a JRPG.

3. If you could travel anywhere in our beautiful world, where would it be?

I would love to live in Japan. As for travelling America would be amazing though there is SO much to see. Too much for one trip.

4. What is your favourite book?

From childhood Rowan of Rin. As an adult Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is particularly memorable. I don’t really have a favourite per se.

5. What are you most proud of?

Moving overseas when I was eighteen. Making a life for myself in a foreign country and how far I have come back in Australia with Martin.

6. How has your blog helped you the most?

By keeping me motivated to read up on news, play games and just write on a consistent basis.

7. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Spending school holidays playing Pokemon Gold and Silver with my brother, getting too hot so swimming in the pool only to get back out and play Pokemon again. For such a long time that our Gameboy Color actually started to rub colour onto our hands.

8. What is your biggest passion?

Video games and writing. A combined passion.

9. Your favourite food?

I’m so indecisive. I guess Japanese or Mexican? Tacos are pretty amazing. So is ramen.

10. What is your favourite quote?

Gaming related? Anything GLaDOS says.
