I was really inspired to make my own nerdy cookies after seeing the above Sharingan cookies from Miki’s Pantry. You can see how she created them here.

First I grabbed some basic ingredients. Flour, baking soda, caster sugar, vanilla essence. butter. milk and an egg.

I put the sugar, butter and essence in a glass bowl.

I mixed it.

I added the rest of the ingredients, mixed it and then rolled it out.

Then I cut them out into little circles.

I baked them!

I painted them red.

TAH-DAH! I guess I expected to naturally be awesome at decorating cookies. I didn’t know how to get rid of the excess sugar and I didn’t have something to properly draw on the cookies. For a first attempt though I am not too sad!

At the same time another plate of cookies was being decorated. We all helped out to make some of these beauties.

Tah-duh. Guess you will never guess which two are mine!
