HAPPY EASTER! I hope you have all had amazing days filled with family and friends. Easter is almost over here now but for some of you it is still only just beginning! I hope the Easter Bunny has been kind to you!

Turkish Delights are yuck. Why do they insist on putting so many of them in the box? I swear!

I started the day by eating some cheeky chocolate in bed. Martin was still asleep.. I swear every single time I rummaged through the box it sounded like our house was sucomming to some kind of avalanche. Finally when I did grab a chocolate it was a Turkish Delight. Typical! After my initial shame I decided that Easter is the only time of the year where it is somewhat socially acceptable to eat chocolate any time of the day so you HAVE to make the most of it.

When we opened the front door to get ready to leave we noticed some flowers on the front doorstep! One of my friends had left them there to wish me a good recovery from my surgery. She is the best! I’m such a sucker for receiving flowers. :). Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am SO sorry about how excited Pip is about this photo. I didn’t realise until afterwards and it was the only one I took.

After we got dressed and put the flowers in a vase, we went on a little family outing to the dog park. I have never seen anyone as excited as Pippen gets when we go anywhere. He’s at the car door before I’ve even set foot outside and he loves watching the cars go past. People always have to take a second look at him because they think we have some kind of horse in the back seat. I swear he isn’t that big. Maybe I am just used to him.

Such a lovely day out today!

It was such a lovely day today. Finally Summer is behind us. I am not a Summer person. I am so pale; the sun only has to be out for two minutes and I will burn. I just don’t like the heat so I am glad to see that the weather is cooler. The breeze was so lovely. It was nice to be able to sit outside and talk while Pippen ran around like a crazy person.

Time to curl up on the couch suffering from a chocolate coma and cry over the last few trophies I need.

Now it’s close to 9:00 pm and I feel sick. Too much food! Ugh. Originally we had plans for some friends to come over but we are spending the night getting the last few trophies we both need for our platinum trophies. That’s real romance right there! I swear that this Skylanders platinum will be the death of me. It’s so embarrassing to even say that. I just think it should be easier than it is. A play through, nightmare play through, speed attack play through and score attack play through are all needed. I just can’t deal that many times. Four play throughs? Are you kidding me! I breezed through hard mode and now Martin and I are doing Nightmare co-op. We are currently up to Chapter Five but it’s getting a bit dicey as I haven’t really levelled any of my Skylanders up except my main Jade Fire Kraken. Uggghh I don’t want to have to do that guys :(.
