Game 2/52 – Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day
You should probably pass!
I struggled to finish this game. I really did. That really says a lot about the game as I love games that are considered awful. Vanilla Hyperdimension Neptunia is great guys. Anyway not only is this game just not very good, it is also only half an hour to an hour long. What a perfect game for me to play! Well no! No, no, no! I had to play it three times just to finish it.
What I Liked
I liked the character design. The outfits they wore were very cute and the dragon had love hearts on it. That’s cool, right? I enjoyed the final level being a clunkly 8-bit battle. It does come with some cool animated shorts though. I have heard people buy it solely for that so there’s that. I also liked that I finished it in such a short period of time so that I never have to play it again.
What I Disliked
I didn’t know what was happening. According to Google I am not the only one -phew-. One minute I was trying to kill my dad, then I was being grinded up by a chainsaw, and then my friend was a dragon. If that wasn’t enough my legs got really hairy. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I found the controls to be a little clunky and they didn’t respond at times. Whether that be L1 to shoot at some demon hands, to jump or to avoid in the 8-bit battle.

Really looking forward to this! I’m playing through my own backlog 😛 I really liked Hyperdimension Neptunia V. Sucks that you didn’t like this game too much. Hopefully the next one goes better!
